Hotel room had a musty smell. Wait time at the restaurant for food was long. The chair outside on the balcony was broken. And the water at the water park was so cold everyone including small children were packing into the hot tub. Staff was kind and helpful.

The water park was neat but very cold. The baby/toddler pool was warm but the older kids would hang out in it and made it hard for our baby to actually play. The hot tub was also for 16+ but it was swarming with kids the entire time. Enjoyed having the restaurants onsite but they were often out of things & breakfast was pricey for it to be a typical hotel breakfast that you could get free at other hotels. It was clear they were trying to cut costs where possible but overall our toddler enjoyed the experience & that’s truly what matters.

Parking. Great. Gym. Great. Overall Cleanliness. Pretty good. Kids cabin room with bunk beds rental here. The cover of the box spring in the queen bed was dirty, maybe adding an easy skirt would keep it clean and wasier to clean. The rails in the bunk beds had crumbs and lint and such, the couch was definitely overdue to be put out to pasture, but other than that the room was fine and cleaned well. Pool. Cold. Once you were in it was fine but man it was cold. I don't think the water heated at all. I didn't do the hot tub. Water there didn't look very good but the rest of my party said it was warm and fine. People have complained of the water color but I think it's the paintbor cement coloring at the bottom, you could tell it needed redone and the tile claround could use a good scrub. Hubby said mens bathroom keading to the pool needed a good scrub, like the grout and everhthing scrubbed. Overall it showed the age. Never said here but definitely loik at their website. Basically everything is shut down Tuesday and Wednesday, sometimes more. I was up at 6 and had to wait till 8 to get anything, all places open later, they do have free coffee at 6am to 8am tho. Some of the smaller kid slides were out of order (we didn't need em just letting upu know) We'd still go back again, ee had a great time, a nice close to home getaway. I'm just glad I asked about the upgrade to the package fornearky swim time ($69 to swim before checknin time and was worth it for us)

So disappointing! We got to the resort at 5:05pm. We were told our room was not ready. We watched other families come in after us and go right to their rooms. We waited over 2 hours to even be able to enter the room. They just kept telling us to check back in 30 mins. When we got to the room, there were no toiletries, towels or garbage bags in the cans. We were told they did not have any towels and to check in the morning. We slept on mattress covers because the beds were missing their fitted sheets. Once we got settled in the room, we had 1 hour to swim before the pool closed and without any slides since they had closed and hour before. The water and the temperature in the building was cold. There were not enough inner tubes for the lazy river while the slides were open the next day since one of the slides used the tubes too. We booked through Hotels.com and were not made aware that the wave pool or the big slide by the wave pool were closed. In the morning when we went to brush our teeth, there was no water coming out of the faucet or the tub. How does water get shut off to a room?! This was one of the most disappointing family trips we have ever been on. I really expected a grand experience with the price we paid.

There were a few awesome staff members. Overall though not so much. All the amenities were open as advertised when booking but when we arrived some were “closed until further noticed.” The restaurants weren’t open when they were advertised that they would be. We stood in a long line to check in at 4pm and once we got to the service counter we were told that our room wasn’t ready and that we would have to rejoin the long line again after 20 minutes. We weren’t able to get into our room until about 4:40, 40 minutes after our check in time. Overall, outside of the amenities being falsely advertised, I feel that this place was highly understaffed and things could have gone much smoother if they were properly staffed.

Clean rooms, staff was great, food was pricey but amazing. Waterpark was fun and kid friendly. As someone that came from Wisconsin it was a nice change from Wisconsin dells! Definitely will be back! Kids loved the movie night.

I went in at 12:30 to try and check in- I was met by a 17 year old boy who gave me a blank stare and couldn’t find my reservation. I came back at 2:30 after reading reviews that the water park closed at 4! Had to have two other unfriendly staff members find my reservation- still no one informing me of the entire establishment shutting down at 4pm. No arcade, no golf,no food, nothing after 4pm. Everything was shut down the next two days as well! No one was even at the front desk when we tried to get something from the 24 hour store. The water park is dirty and smells of mold. The hot tub looked like a rust color. Sitting in the room at 4:30 we decided to just check out since we couldn’t eat or do anything besides sit in our room. The room mattress bottom had blood and the towels were stained yellow, the shampoo smelled like moth balls. Went to the front desk two hours after checking in to check out and no one asked why! It was the same kid blankly staring at me checking me out in silence. Here’s a tip to the owners- sell your establishment to someone who actually wants to run a thriving business who cares about guests. What’s the point of being a waterpark closed four out of seven days a week in the winter when people want to escape the cold. No food? No drinks!?! Come on!?! If I want to sit in these conditions I’ll just stay at home which is what I drove back to! Thanks but no thanks!!!

Staff seemed like they hated their jobs. Information on pool access was lacking (you cannot access until check in time on your check in day) and day passes have black out days. Our 2 and 5 yos had a blast at the water park though and room was fine enough if you're okay with dated. Bring your own towels as they ran out a couple of times and dont rely on their pool restuarnt always being open.

Our room was clean! Brea and Tiffany were the staff who were the most friendly, helpful, and great talking with our children about the resort. The amenities were great despite the negative degrees outside that caused some extra shut downs or coldness....but it was perfect for needing a get-a-way for our family!

The staff is very friendly, the main areas were clean. They are in need of updates, the water park area needs heating updated and new windows to help in the winter also a major clean to the pool from build up. The water is freezing so not ideal for our winter getaway. Rooms are okay and need some updates , like the sliding doors are pretty drafty. There’s a lot to do that our small kids enjoyed other than the swimming like a movie on a projector in an area, table for coloring, arcade, ice cream shop.
