Entertaining stay! The hotel itself is really nice, it's very clean and tidy throughout, which is so important to me personally. My room was roomy and had all that I required for a one night stay, even longer would have been fine also. the bathroom while a mixture of modern and old fashioned, again was fine for my stay, it had a lovely walking show fitted with a rain head, which was all very nice, toilet & sink though were a horrid pink, bit functional, although the cold tap had to be turned in the wrong directionion to make it work, which is like to see replaced with a new set, so they worked as expected. Breakfast was excellent, the quality of the produce used was excellent and this alone would make me return for another stopover, which I shall. My only criticism is that the fire alarm went off just after midnight, which turned into a right nightmare, as there was noone on site form the hotel itself, so 4 of us were left to try and resolve the problem, which resulted in the fire brigade having to attend and reassure us that we could rest easy for the rest of the night, what a bloody pain that was in the early hours.
