This Pig did not disappoint. The approach and front entrance were disappointing and for all the world it looked as if the hotel was closed. The front door area is barren. However once inside it was marvelous and the staff were all happy and terrific. Our Shepherds Hut was divine! An easy walk to the beach and cafe's provided activities without requiring the car.

Beautiful Tudor house hotel, extremely friendly staff. We were booked into a comfy luxe room, we would’ve liked to have known before hand that there was no separate bathroom! Bath, shower and sink are all open plan, toilet separated by a stable door. Almost zero privacy, as someone who has a strict locked door rule when using the bathroom I did find the bedroom layout a struggle!! Not ideal if you’ve just starting out in a relationship either. The housekeeping was great and everything was of high quality. Didn’t eat much in the hotel as the food wasn’t to my partners liking but we knew this beforehand. There’s some beach cafes nearby but that’s about it, again we knew this.

We love this hotel! Stayed in one of their Garden Wagons, which was delightful. The menu and breakfast are superb and staff are lovely. Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to a family emergency and this was handled without fuss and empathy. Thank you Pig at Harlyn Bay, we will be back…

The rustic charm of the Pig was matched by attentive and knowledgeable staff. The food was 'a la Pig' as expected. We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived until we left. The ambience left little to be desired.

Whilst very expensive, every Pig hotel enjoyably. Pig is our chosen hotels for special occasions. Can they defend the price? Well, they seem to have a high occupancy whenever we stay.

Hard to say such a lovely place but see service was awful except for lobster shack - eg. Arrived an hour early when this happened at previous hotel we were offered a drink and space to wait at pig we were told to come back in an hour- went down for dinner another couple there to we were told we were at the wrong station and had to go to another to be seated so you had this group marching around very odd feels like everyone is on their first day
