Excellent place and host

A very nice and friendly place to stay. It is just next to the main road but I wasnt disturbed by the sound from road traffic. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean. Breakfast is included with the stay and the host prepared the breakfast for us. I must say that breakfast was very satisfying and host accommodated to all our personal requests. More than the place itself, the hosts were very warm and welcoming and made the entire stay much comfortable. Will definitely recommend to others and visit again.

We were warmly welcomed by our host. The accommodation is cozy and inviting, with lovely seating areas, a terrace, and a winter garden. There was plenty of free parking available. EV charging is possible either directly at the house or at a fast-charging station in town. Breakfast was outstanding — everything was lovingly prepared and beautifully served. We truly felt at home. Thank you again for the wonderful stay!

Ole's hospitality was warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was generous and had everything you could want, even delicious homemade jam. The accommodation was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definately come back next time we visit our Danish cousins in Væggeløse.

Lots of Space and free entertainment for kids. But also lots of spiders inside. Heavy noise (even during night) due to heavy traffic along the mainroad.

Would love a reason to go back!

I absolutely LOVED staying at this quaint and countryside spot. We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect location. Every morning there were a couple of friendly gentlemen making delicious breakfast, the pancakes were ahhmazing. The location had a lot of outdoor space and all the rooms had there own character to them. Get ready tho, there are seasonal spiders (we were told we were there right in season for them...) so lots of critters to live amongst. Not a problem for me but yes, it is the countryside. This spot felt homey and comfortable. It was a warm four days we were there so it could get a big muggy while getting ready but nothing too bad. Some oscillating fans in the rooms would have been great. The all day coffee bar was perfect.

Spartanske værelser, hvilket jo også fremgår af prisen. Herlig morgenmad og den flinkeste hotelvært, jeg har mødt :-)

2/10 Poor

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have had in Denmark. It felt more like a low-budget hostel than a hotel. We booked a family studio suite for four people, but upon arrival, we found four single beds with only one set of sheets provided. There were no additional linens available in the apartment. There was also no proper reception—our key was left on a table alongside a sheet displaying guests’ full names and email addresses, which is a serious privacy concern. The apartment itself was not clean. Trash bins in both the kitchen and bathroom were still filled with waste from previous guests. The unit was spread over two levels, with the bedroom upstairs, but there were no smoke detectors installed, despite this being a legal requirement in Denmark. The electrical setup appeared unsafe and unprofessional. One power outlet was loose, hanging out of the wall with exposed wires, which is particularly concerning for families with children. Breakfast on the first morning was basic but acceptable; however, on the second day, the selection was significantly reduced. While it is a positive that pets are allowed, it is not appropriate to have a dog roaming freely in the kitchen area. Overall, this stay was very disappointing and did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness, safety, or service and I will never come back.

Super hyggeligt sted langs landevejen, hvor varme og nærhed er i højsædet. Ole er det naturlige midtpunkt, og her er plads til alle. Varme anbefalinger herfra.
