This was by far the worst hotel experience I have had in Denmark. It felt more like a low-budget hostel than a hotel.
We booked a family studio suite for four people, but upon arrival, we found four single beds with only one set of sheets provided. There were no additional linens available in the apartment. There was also no proper reception—our key was left on a table alongside a sheet displaying guests’ full names and email addresses, which is a serious privacy concern.
The apartment itself was not clean. Trash bins in both the kitchen and bathroom were still filled with waste from previous guests. The unit was spread over two levels, with the bedroom upstairs, but there were no smoke detectors installed, despite this being a legal requirement in Denmark.
The electrical setup appeared unsafe and unprofessional. One power outlet was loose, hanging out of the wall with exposed wires, which is particularly concerning for families with children.
Breakfast on the first morning was basic but acceptable; however, on the second day, the selection was significantly reduced.
While it is a positive that pets are allowed, it is not appropriate to have a dog roaming freely in the kitchen area.
Overall, this stay was very disappointing and did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness, safety, or service and I will never come back.
