On February 7,2026, I arrived at the Hyatt Place West Palm Beach downtown location to attend my daughter’s wedding. We were greeted at the front desk and assigned room #319. The bathroom and shower tile grout was dirty. The tile grout below the shower door appeared to have mold and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. I informed the front desk the following day, I was told that there were no management on duty (weekend), and that the maintenance supervisor would come to inspect the bathroom area (no show). During checkout on February8, 2026, I reiterated my concerns, provided my contact information and was told that management would contact me the next morning.
Later in the day on February 9, 2026, I called the Hyatt Place Palm Beach, location and informed the front desk that I had not received a call back from someone in management. I was informed that management had got in late, I was put on hold a few minutes. A female who identified herself as the Assistant General Manager, rudely stated that she had tested and inspected the bathroom (#319) for mold and that there was no mold. She was agitated and the tone of her voice was condescending. I requested to speak with MS Logan, who is listed as the General Manager. She abruptly transferred me to her voice mail. I left my contact information, as of this post I have not been contacted.
