Felt unwelcome by staff at checkin because our room reservation was made using a third party app that reserved the room with our login name instead of the names on our govt-issued IDs. Hotel staff said they will only checkin people who have a govt-issued ID that matches the reservation. They went on to say that we should think of their hotel like the airport. They went on and on about it and made it seem like they wanted to turn us away. Also, despite our two night reservation, they made our room keys expire after just one night. There were other issues that negatively impacted our stay as well.
