Reception kept disappearing,bar tender had to called by receptionist! Public toilets in bar female out of order ,male dirt all round skirting board ,pipes on the ground for some reason dirty bathroom all in all ,Bed mattress needed replacing springs coming through not a good night sleep at all ,would not recommend,also pint of larger £7.50 ! Even more expensive than most London bars

Close to gatwick for travel, free parking and friendly staff. Other than that it isn't good, not worth the money even though low, it's no more than 1/2 stars and shouldn't be more than £30. We managed to get some sleep and move on. Even if the breakfast had been available as advertised, we wouldn't have eaten it. Place needs a major clean and refurbishment, which I can now see has been promised for some time on reviews.

Would have been nice for them to clean the room properly. There was a boggy stuck to the wall next to the photo of Marilyn Monroe. I didn’t expect much it was cheap and clearly outdated from the photos. We purely stayed here because it was the closet place available to Reigate Hill where we were attending a wedding but I at least expect a clean room without boogies, kettle full of limescale and mould all of the shower in the bathroom which they hadn’t finished painting.

It was cheap but not cheerfull. I had low expectations due to the price, on the plus side the bedding and towel were clean. The room and corridors are shabby and in need of an overhaul. The worse thing was a shower which did not get warm at all. No amount of adjustment got anything but freezing cold water. It's a shame as it would have been cheap and relatively cheerful had the shower worked. Reception were apologetic.

No breakfast, no evening meal, shower only had 2 settings: off and burn you alive. Towel radiator leaked onto electrical wires. Moved me to another room where another guest entered the room (using the same key code) as I stepped out the shower. Mattress had an interesting feature where a spring poked in my back. I think Basil Fawlty provides a better service.

For us the location was very convenient. The room was clean and the location perfect for walking, with beautiful viewpoints very close by. It is off a busy main road but no noise issues. The building and decor are a bit tired but did the job and all was all fine for our needs.
