Convenient location to all things downtown GB. Walk almost anywhere you wish to go. Clean. Quiet. Great rate in off-season. High pets fees. Very small tv (which wasn’t an issue for me but my husband wanted to watch ballgames and is used to his huge tv at home). Breakfast looked very minimal so we never tried it. Would def stay again.

I would NOT consider this establishment pet friendly. Check in was prompt and the front desk employees were very kind. We checked out 3 hours later. Spent a total of 25 min in the room. Our room was clean. I believe the housekeeping service providers did a great job. Our issue however was there is no place on their property to take your dog to relieve themselves. Every area except a hill is full of rocks. You have to walk in & through high traffic areas to get to a place behind the hotel next door and next to a parking garage to take your dog. We had our 2 doodles with us & there was no way we were going to risk having to venture out after dark that distance, especially when paying a pet fee, which evidently is to provide extra cleaning, not any kind of provision for pets. I wasn’t expecting a dog park, but expecting a place that advertises as “pet friendly”, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect that there would be a place on site (not through 2 parking lots , or across the street & down the road) to be able to take your dog to relieve themselves. I called to ask for a refund, which was denied (not even a good gesture to refund the pet fee, which I could have lived with), I was told by the manager… she did not agree that it was inconvenient, there are plenty of places to take your dogs, and sorry it was inconvenient for us but no charges will be refunded. This is just a bad business practice. No attempt to make it right. I can’t imagine running my business like that.

We had some hiccups that they tried to immediately address when I reported them on Hotels.com, unfortunately the fix wasn’t much better than the problem, but they did try! Instead of the toilet, not being able to flush it made swirling swishing noises every 30 seconds throughout the night, but they did try and they didn’t get approval to go into room till right before five and I assume the maintenance man left at five other than that it is a very nice hotel I guess when I said the toilet wasn’t flushing properly I should have went back down and let them know once again. I do believe it’s a good place to stay. I just don’t think things necessarily fell into place like I hope they would but everyone there was very nice and I do think they’re trying if I was in the area again I would give them another chance.

The room was not very clean. There was construction going on with updating, but I expected the room to be clean. The floors were paint stained and dusty dirty. The staff were not overly friendly either. The fireplace in the room had a small flame burning when we arrived, with it not being on. The had a propane smell. We had to open the balcony door to get fresh air. Seemed like a leak. Plus it wouldn’t light when we turned it on. It was just a so-so place. Will not be my first choice in the future.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The room was spacious and super clean with a nice view and the location is perfect. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff - someone was available for late check-in as well as via text when I had questions. When we decided to extend our stay by a day due to the weather, adding an extra night was no trouble at all. We can’t wait to stay here again!
