El Sendero Inn is very convenient to the old town area of Santa Fe. It's an easy walk to the plaza, Palace of the Governors, Basilica of St. Francis, restaurants, and shops. The hotel itself is okay--clearly a converted budget motel, so nothing fancy. But it was fine, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet when we stayed in early April. Check-in was easy and staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

El Sendero was a great, affordable place to stay in Santa Fe. The hotel felt updated and very well kept, which made it comfortable without losing its charm. The location is hard to beat, right next door to the country’s oldest church, across the street from the oldest house, and only about a five-minute walk to the central plaza. The $10 in-and-out parking was also a nice perk, especially in such a central area. The only downside was that the pool was closed during our stay. Still, for the price, location, and overall quality, this was a very solid choice.
