Cool family friendly place with lots of activities (ping pong, minigolf, canoes and kayaks) and a beautiful location and view from all the rooms. Very generous and tasty breakfast, too.

The walls are pretty thin. The couple staying next to me fought off and on a large portion of the evening, as in screaming at each other. I could also hear the folks below me. And somewhere in the building there were children that were pretty loud as well. I’m glad mostly everyone was having a nice vacation but some type of insulation or ways to mitigate the noise would be a great idea for management to implement . I loved having the opportunity to paddle board but it’s pretty obvious that equipment hasn’t been updated, cleaned, or replaced in a while. The actual room was very clean, and the view was incredible. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful.

The location was fantastic. The ocean, the trees, the wildlife. The room was dark. There was a small refrigerator but no microwave unless you walked up the hill to the dining area. The heater in the bathroom was broken and the heater in the living area hummed all night. Lots of hot water. Comfortable bed Not a terrible spot but not worth the price

Not so good

The room was filthy with spider webs In The corners and spiders and other creepy crawlers in the sink and bathtub. We endured the additional night of our two night stay—we should not have as I was bitten by Something at night and my entire right elbow area was swollen and hot. I will enclose a photo of my elbow. I was also bitten on the shoulder area and the top of my thighs. Not sure what it was. The view was gorgeous but not worth the bites.

Loved this property even though old, resort had heated pool, miniature golf, and kayaking for free which is awesome for a family of 4. Great breakfast also, blueberry pancakes were delicious!

More like camping than a resort

Dark and dingy room. Very very outdated. It was not the cleanest. The 24/7 coffee pot was always empty in the morning before breakfast and no tea water available. It was difficult to get hot water to shower. It was a long dirt road through the woods to get to the “resort”. It was very hard to find a trash can and they were full. Outside by the dock smelled strongly like sewer. This was definitely more a camping vibe than a resort. Also there is not anywhere to get food less than 20 minutes away and more likely 30-40 minutes. Pack your pb&j. We will not be back.

The oceanfront location is really nice, the beds were comfortable and it was clean. Breakfast was good. I would stay again, as long as it isn't more expensive. I wouldn't pay top dollar to stay here.

The room was large and roomy. The bed was comfortable. The room temperature was easy to adjust. We had a corner room with a patio facing the harbor. Our door had a sliding screen door , which none of the other units in our building had, and it was nice to have the fresh Maine air breeze. I enjoyed my early morning dunkin ( purchased the night before) before the rest of humanity was awake. Breakfast items were hot and there were many additional choices. Dinning room was comfortable and clean. There were a few disappointing things, however. I was aware that the establisment was somewhat rustic, but some upgrades would be in the best interest of the owners and patrons. Our parking area was on such a slanted slope, it was difficult to get in and out of our vehicle and there was high probability of car damage by other vehicles hitting each other by swinging doors. There was "garbage" on the ground just outside the dining hall in the tree area...disposable forks and knives AND a disposable used woman's product!!!! This was still there the next day!!!! There needs to be more attention to little details! Our shower curtain was NOT clean. It had pink staining all along the lower portion. This is unsanitary and is caused by a microbe. Shower curtains are not that expensive and should be bleached or replaced occasionally. Our towels had multiple yellow stained areas.... Needless to say...we did not shower! I might recommend this establishment to others but would warn them about the iss
