Lovely hotel, excellent location and great views. Staff really friendly. Large room which was really nice. Didnt eat in the hotel in the evening but good range of hot and cold food at breakfast. Plenty of parking which is a massive plus in the location but there is a small charge. Didnt affect us but there is only one small lift so could impact you if you dont want to use the stairs. Will definitely be back

Excellent hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the reception, bar and restaurant were pleasant places to sit eat, drink and relax. Our room was number 20 on the first floor. It was advertised as room with a view of the lake. The view was a bit obstructed, because unfortunately part of our view was the excavation for the new extension, presently being added to the rear of the hotel. Otherwise we had a pleasant 2 night stay and will probably book again, after the extension is complete.

Overall, I had a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good with decent variety. The hotel itself is well maintained and worth staying at. I would recommend booking directly with the hotel rather than through Hotels.com. I don't have price comparison now. Also, parking is free if you book directly, whereas I booked via Hotels.com and had to pay £15 per night for car parking, which I only found out after booking.

A very peaceful break and very nice bright clean room , nice and warm thanks for the portable radiator. The only thing I would of liked, smaller pillows as I had problems sleeping, l could not sleep very well.kept waking up with a pane in my neck, did not use pillows in the end, apart from that, had a very nice break thank you.
