This hotel is not far from Michigan U main campus and the downtown. Hotel check in and check out were easy. Their small convenience store was convenient for snacks and drinks. Plenty of parking as well. Our room was on the main floor. It had an awful musty smell like a wet damp basement. I'm not sure if this was because it was a rainy weekend and the parking lot was our direct view but it was not pleasant. Rooms are outdated re carpet and curtains but the beds were comfortable.

We received complimentary nights from the manager due to issues during our first night. I really appreciated the level of customer service and hospitality. The property is clean comfortable and convenient. The breakfast was delicious and served fresh and hot. Staff was helpful, friendly and was willing to assist when needed.
