A funcionária que me fez o check-in era arrogante, mal-educada, incompetente e desinteressada. O quarto era grande mas a precisar de uma remodelação total. O serviço de quartos é do pior. Chegava da praia às 16.00h e o quarto continuava por arrumar, casa de vanho tal como a tinha deixado de manhã sem limpezave sem reposição de toalhas. Uma vergonha! Todos os dias tive que ligar para a recepção ou deslocar-me à mesma, para pedir que me limpassem o quarto. O pequeno-almoço é péssimo, sem variedade, nem qualidade. Enfim, para esquecer! Antipatia e gente que não quer trabalhar!

Pretty basic hotel with lots of “snags” during our stay. We booked 3 but the room was set up for 2. Struggled to get extra pillows and asked 4 times for towels. The safety deposit box was another story and took the best part of 2 hours to resolve. The room was close to a service area and was quite noisy at night. One of the beds was also in need of attention as the springs made a racket. Staff were nice, the location was ok and in fairness the stay turned out ok before we connected to our cruise.

The air conditioning was great and effective for the humid climate. We had limited interaction with the staff, but everyone we spoke with was pleasant and helpful. There was a kitchenette (no stovetop) but only 2 glasses, two plates, and a wine glass. No silverware at all. When we arrived, ALL of the cabinets and drawers were wide open. As for cleanliness, the couch was extremely stained and underneath the cushion was crumby and sandy. The towels and sheets were clean BUT they do not give you a top sheet. All you get is a light blanket. (There were stains on the blanket, too.) We asked for a top sheet and housekeeping gave us one. The views from our room were AMAZING! The area was perfect for getting around and there are places to eat and visit the beach close by. For what we paid, we would stay again.

The location is great- next to the Caribe Hilton. The room was large with a nice balcony overlooking the lagoon. Great to have a kitchenette. The blanket was like another sheet - very thin. Bathroom is showing its age a bit- as are the hallways. Staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was a couple of bagels or a pre-made cereal bowl with some overripe bananas or grapes - not impressive. They do offer 15/night parking at a garage a block away. Way better than the Caribe Hilton parking prices.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel and would not recommend staying here. To begin with, the lobby being located on the second floor made access difficult and inconvenient. Upon arrival, the staff was immediately rude and unwelcoming, which made me feel uncomfortable during check-in. When I entered my room, there was a strong musty odor. The bathroom was clearly not properly cleaned—the shower door and knob were covered in soap scum, and there was hair in the shower. The bed was also not adequately prepared, with only a mattress pad and a top sheet. I attempted to call the front desk using the room phone, but it did not work. I then had to go back down to the lobby to report the issues. When I explained my concerns, the staff member responded dismissively, stating, “Well, there’s no housekeeping here, so I don’t know what you want me to do.” I asked for cleaning supplies so I could address the situation myself, but she again responded in a condescending tone that she had no access to any supplies. When I asked for clean sheets, she told me I could come back down later to get them. I then requested a room change, but was told no other rooms were available. While I was still at the desk, another guest began checking in. I advised them to inspect their room before settling in, based on my experience. The staff member then said to them, “Don’t listen to her, she’s just mad,” which was extremely unprofessional. Finally, when I asked for a refund, I was told I ha

Paid 2 hrs for late check out and security was at our door 5 minutes past our check out time like if we were thieves. Two security people came knocking loud and even though they saw me with our luggage walking to our door, they stood there until we all came out of the room and escorted us out. Totally fail. I rarely leave reviews, but this place was beyond unacceptable. After arriving late from a flight, the last thing I expected was to walk into what can only be described as a filthy, poorly managed property. The front desk staff was immediately rude and completely unhelpful—no sense of urgency, no professionalism, and definitely no customer service. The room itself was disgusting. The bed had only a single sheet, no proper mattress protection, and the “comforter” looked like an old, worn-out throw blanket. That alone was bad enough—but what pushed it over the edge was what we found next. Out of concern, we checked the mattress with a light… and saw bugs. At that point, we were done. We were in the room for maybe 30 minutes before deciding there was no way we could stay there. When we returned to the front desk, there was zero accountability. No apology. No concern. Instead, they tried to pressure me into signing a waiver agreeing to pay fees, which was honestly unbelievable given the condition of the room. This place is not just low quality—it’s unsanitary. If you’re expecting even basic cleanliness or service, do not book here. Save yourself the time, money, and stress.
