From the moment we checked in, it felt like everything that could go wrong did. As someone who is hearing impaired, I had difficulty understanding the front desk staff due to extremely loud music in the lobby. There was a large event taking place in the open central area of the hotel, which created significant noise disruption throughout the space.
In addition, there was a strong and unpleasant odor that filled our room and persisted for several hours.
Prior to our stay, we were informed that the pool would have designated adult quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. To accommodate this, we planned our evening accordingly—going out for shopping and dinner so we could return at 10:00 p.m. to enjoy the pool. Unfortunately, we were unable to do so due to the circumstances.
The pool area was overcrowded, with many children running and jumping around, and there appeared to be no supervision or enforcement of the stated quiet hours. We approached at least four staff members and asked for assistance in addressing the situation and ensuring the adult-only time was respected. Each time, we were told it was not their responsibility and that we needed to speak with the front desk.
When we went to the front desk at 10:00 p.m., there was an extremely long line.
