I loved the overall aesthetic of this place, but the elevator REALLY needs some work. It was adventurous, but borderline scary, and only allowed two people. However, it is still very impressive that a historic building has an elevator in the first place.
Absolutely no complaints about the room, it was gorgeous, and the windows allowed plenty of sunlight in. Floors were a little creaky, but that's historic hotel charm.
Also, a staff member told me there was a secret piano on the 7th floor, but there was no piano, which was no fun. They were probably joking with us, but I seriously wanted to see the secret piano!!
