The entire property is under construction and there was no warning about its conditions. Drywall, exposed electrical, wet paint signs, unfinished carpet, etc. The door to our bathroom was rotted. Floor was dirty. Breakfast was good and the beds were fine.

I guess I caught them in a transitional period. There was a lot of construction going on and the hallways had a bit of debris on the carpets. They've installed cook tops, kitchen style cabinets and a larger refrigerator in the rooms although at the expense of closet space, a desk and somewhere to put your luggage. And maybe it's going to change but the cabinets are empty as in no plates, cups, pots, pans, cutlery, etc so.... That said it's the best priced of the nice hotels close to the airport and has a shuttle service.

The receptionist staff were nice enough. However, this property was not as advertised. There was ongoing construction throughout the building, including the elevator. Everything looked run down except the inside of the hotel room. To add to that, the shower drain was not working properly. We had to stand in a growing puddle with each shower. As you can imagine, that was not a great experience.

Hotel was supposedly recently remodeled, but it looks like it’s still mid process. There’s painters tape everywhere. There’s masking tape everywhere. There’s no wallpaper, there’s no door jams between the room and the hallway. The shower sprays water everywhere, I’m sure there will be mold problem soon. We paid close to $200 a night and we could hear all of our neighbors, through the walls and under the doors, at all times. I took lots of pictures to document it all. It’s not really close to anything so you have to Uber or drive everywhere. We won’t be staying there again.

This property has seen better days, and it shows from start to finish. The parking lot is full of potholes and needs to be repaved. When you walk in, the whole place has a tired feel. The floors are worn, the colors are muted, and it just feels dated. Check-in and check-out were both great, but the worn, weary experience continues beyond that. The elevator floors and doors were scratched. When the elevator opened on our floor, there was exposed drywall and visible PVC conduit running down the hallway to one of the rooms. It looked like a semi-professional repair job at best. Our room was good, honestly. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked well, and we had enough toiletries. The shower could have used a deeper cleaning, but overall it met our needs. We only stayed one night to catch a Preds game and so my daughter could fly back to college after spring break. We never felt unsafe, and the staff was friendly. We often stay at La Quinta properties on road trips because they are usually pleasant and well-maintained. We will not be back to this location.
