Room was very clean. There is a parking garage under the hotel, plenty of parking. It was confusing as to where the main lobby and entrance is when you first arrive, look for a dark log facade. No signs on exterior of building. Breakfast was good with eggs, a meat, and potato variety, as well as waffles, cereal bread, muffins etc. The initiial check was fine, while waiting for a luggage cart we went to the room and discovered no heat. We had to wait 30 minutes for the GM but he was awesome and gave us a different room, and checked in with us a couple times after our first night to make sure everything was good. Our only concern with this hotel is they need to replace/upgrade the old wall heaters in some of the rooms. Again the GM is a hard worker and resolved our issue quickly. We will definitely stay again.

The staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was a nice way to get some fuel before skiing. It is not too hard to walk into the village, probably about 15 minutes. The beds were comfortable and the room was modern and spacious. The room did smell pretty weird though, luckily it cleared out by opening the window.

I’ve stayed here now 6-7 times and always enjoy it. Cant be the location, clean rooms, and massive indoor hot tub. But they need to do something about the plumbing, because the last few stays have had issues with the toilet not flushing well enough and the water pressure is terrible.

The bathroom is small compared to the rest of the room. The room was clean. It was too warm and we tried turning down the heat. Fortunately, there was a fan in the room and we moved it closer to the bed. There was a second fan but it didn't work. Also, the TV was small. I guess we're spoiled. We also wished breakfast was served earlier (like 6 am) Oh, the coffee in the room was nasty!

Pluses: 1.) It's one of the few "budget" options in Mammoth that have covered parking. It can be a real plus if it's snowing. 2.) a huge indoor hot tub. 3.)Breakfast is included. Minuses: basically everything else. The rooms are dumpy, climate control is non existent: with old radiators you either sweat to death or freeze. I complain about it every time when I visit mammoth: why is there no "Middle?" Either you're in a dumpy old condo, Dilapidated motels that are by far the worst locations in the chains (I've stayed in Q inns where gunfire is constant that look like the ritz compared to this place), or you're paying 600 plus a night for anything approaching the most mediocre Courtyard, comfort, or Holiday Inn in anytown USA. If it wasn't my favorite (and drivable) mountain I'd go anywhere else but I guess that's why they don't even try to improve anything.
