"Our stay at the Watergate was excellent! My wife and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary this year and our original plans fell through. Thanks to Virgin Voyages changing our itinerary to Freezing cold St John's Canada instead of Bermuda. So, we opted to cancel and visit one of our favorite cities, Washington DC. "Overall will recommend to others, just a few points to mention. No stationary or pens in the room, no complimentary water daily, no Bible in the room, ice machine was broken on our floor, towels were hard and nubbly, cafe and gift shop over priced and pillows too soft. Bar food delicious, staff helpful, airport shuttle helpful, clean and good location to public transportation. AC was good. "

"The breakfast was so so. Sausage was spongy and the eggs were just okay. I was bummed I couldn't get coffee later in the day. Choose to grab a soda from the market, and was amazed with the cost...$5. The room itself was very nice. The hotel is within walking distance to food and coffee shops, although most coffee shops closed early. They offer a shuttle to the metro and the airport. "
