"Stayed 4 nights at Hotel Musse Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi Meitetsu, best decision ever!! Let's start with friendly staff, check-in went smooth, all toiletries self service next to the elevator. Room is clean and spacious, as a matter of fact the biggest one among all the hotels we stayed in Japan. Perfect location on the main shopping districts, Nishiki market is only 2 minutes walk, subway and train stations also within minutes walk. Lastly, plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from."

"This was a beautiful hotel in a walkable area with transportation nearby. Quickly get to Nishiki Market for good food, and the Gion District for sight-seeing. I stayed in a room with a private onsen which was amazing for recovery after walking all day. Hotel has a beautiful lobby and rooftop with a foot bath. Room was very large with a seating area to eat, a balcony, and little entryway. Fridge came stocked with drinks and there were also snacks to enjoy. "
