"Lovely resort hotel . Our room was enormous, the pool was relaxing and breakfast was amazing - so much choice and all really fresh . It’s a bit out of the city but there are local buses and train on the doorstep and a free shuttle bus too. We came to see Fukuoka and have a rest from Tokyo . The hotel was great for both. Only downside for us was no vegetarian option at Dinner so we ate in Fukuoka . "

"Hotel and amenities were good, executive lounge was handy to have access to. Panoramic suite has excellent views and is great for sunsets. Room itself was good, though some of the furniture starting to show its age. Clearer signposting on how to easily get to the beach would be helpful."

"It's located in a relatively convenient place. There are bus stops 5 minutes away and train stations 12 minutes away. It's 25 minutes on foot from Hakata Sta. which is also nice for budget traveling if you don't mind the walk. "

"Comfortable accomodation for 2. We had plenty of room and the beds were comfortable (a little on the softer side). We could easily prepare breakfast in the morning with the small kitchen as well. The bus stop is very close by, as is a large 7-11. And we were also able to rent bikes for the day from this accomodation, which we really enjoyed! Check-in worked exactly as described. Recommended!"

"The hotel is in an excellent location. The underground train is right below the hotel. It leads to the underground walking mall. All the major shopping places are within walking distance. The room was very spacious and it's very well maintained. "

"The hotel is very affordable and it's located within walking distance to the underground. It's in the outskirts of Tenjin which is more quiet but still convenient enough. The room is tiny but it's expected in Japanese standard. "

"The DD Hotel is great for groups and families. The rooms accommodate 6 - 8 people. We really liked the panda theme of the hotel. It is close to restaurants and shops - about 8 min walk. "

"Kinda an unexpected score. We arrived right as Fukuoaka hakata festival was going on. There was a shrine carrier base set up nearby who would shout and chant as the event went on. We were able to see them marching the streets in the morning and celebrate in the evenings. It was truly an experience to remember for a lifetime. It's in a suburban area so, expect locals and quietness. I really click with this place and so I'll def consider rebooking again! 😎"
