"Good location at the top of town. Could leave car parked and walk to seafront easily through the town centre. Was close to Stephen Joseph Theatre where we saw a show. Hotel is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Wetherspoons just round the corner for breakfast. Rooms were comfortable but wish I'd spotted the blackout blind before I went bed."

"I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...

"Very friendly lad on reception and booking in efficient. Sorted car parking. Building appealing and clean. Room clean and had a bath. Was a bit noisy from windows but i put that down to the storm tgat passed through. On the whole, will definitely be staying again."

"10/10 - The Plough is an amazing pub/tavern and hotel! Room was plush, cozy and well appointed. Beds and pillows were comfy! Food was yummy, beer was good and people were incredible. Easy to park!"

"We had a great overnight stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and very clean, with a fantastic view over the North Bay. It is in a very handy position for both bays and also Peasholm park or the Open Air Theatre. It’s only a short walk to the town centre and station. Handy parking outside and a very easy check in process. We will certainly book again next time we come to Scarborough. We saw a wonderful sunrise from the bedroom window and got some great pics😊"

"The Crescent Hotel is on the Georgian crescent overlooking the park and is a perfect location for going to the Stephen Joseph Theatre. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Our only small quibble is that there is Open Mic night on Fridays and we were right above the bar, so we could hear the bass playing, but it wasn't too bad as we were on the third floor. "Well located in the centre of Scarborough and close to all shopping and amenities. A few minutes walk and you’re down on the seafront, funicular available for those who don’t dance the walk back up. Parking is always a pain in Scarborough but there’s an NCP car park across the road (£12 for 24 hours as at June 2025). Breakfast was well cooked and filling. "
