"Room was clean and warm but a bit on the small side. Good shower. Hotel is a bit dated but in keeping with the character of the village. 20 mins walk into Garmisch. Supermarket and bistro on the doorstep of the hotel. Good selection for breakfast. Swimming pool and gym on site. Near the Olympic ski jump and 30-40 minute walk to Partnachklamm Gorge which is absolutely worth a visit. "

It is listed on some websites as ski-in/ski-out, which is not accurate. However it was no problem. There is a free bus to the lifts, takes just 2 minutes, very easy and reliable service.
