"The stay was great. The property is pretty, clean and green. The beach is 6min away. We went for an initiation dive as well with them and it went very well. The massage was excellent. 2 things that were great: water flow rate in our shower and the fact that their spa is on the main road and spa room has only 3/4th of the wall, so you can hear all the traffic noise which is pretty loud. "2 bed room villas with kitchen , and private pools on ocean , free breakfast , staff very friendly and helpful . There is not much to do besides trips to island to snorkel and beach snorkeling . Lots of restaurants, cheaper rates in wet season but higher humidity, and sometimes lots of trash in ocean . There were some mosquitoes in room but they had nets . I stayed 10 nights should have stayed 4 . "

"Nusa Bay is an unforgettable location and stay. Take the snorkelling or diving excursions to the reef - an absolute highlight with great guides like Lik Putu. Highly recommend the trip to get to Nusa Bay to see a lot of Bali. If you have a driver, ask for stops at waterfalls and traditional coffee and tea makers to experience more of the mountains between Ubud and West Bali National Park. "Had a great stay here, restaurant is closed so set out for food. There was a tasty food stand outside and found a good restaurant across the street - local eats nothing fancy but good. Pool was nice and there are tables around to spend time in. The front desk gave us a number of a contact for Ijen crater which turned out great. Not far to ferry to Bali. SOme bugs in the room but it comes with the territory. We had to keep toilet seat closed at all times though because it always had ants inside...

Worth doing the ranger guided trek to see many new species to go with the monkeys, deer and large water monitor lizard who visited the beach in front of the villa. Excellent snorkeling trip. Staff first rate throughout. Premium prices."

"The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality."

"This was our second time staying in Batu Ampar Resort. The property is a 10-15 minutes walk from Pasir Putih Beach.
