"The breakfast buffet was excellent. The head chef, Jan, did a terrific job. We also had a cooking class with Jan and Guide. It was very fun. We had a room with a swim out pool and it was very nice. The pool was an oasis. It was always clean and cool enough to be refreshing. We had a swim up bar. Ann was the bartender and we really appreciated her. She was quick and accommodating. The staff in all of the resort was so polite and friendly. We loved our stay at Sawasdee. "

"Nice big room, big bed, nice friendly staff with good house cleaning and the water in the pool was nice and clear plus there is a good view from the rooftop pool. It was a 20 minute walk to get to the beach and main road."

"Beautiful property and very pleasant staff. No direct beach access but ten minutes from two very nice beaches. Cliff side sights are amazing, private pool was clean and wonderful after a very hot day. Minor fit and finish issues here and there and WhatsApp for communication is a bit of a hassle. Only two things Tythat stick out, the rest of the stay was wonderful. Thanks to them and the staff for a great week!"

"I cannot fault the Kata Poolside , i stayed 10 nights in a pool acess room , ALL of the staff in the hotel from resturant, housekeeping,maintenance and reception were incredible, i will certainly stay again ,this is my 4th visit to Kata beach and my first at this hotel and its beautiful ,thoroughly enjoyed every minute ,great price ,great location peaceful and tranquil "

"Kata for sure is a great hotel. Staff were amazing But they became very stingy with extra charges for my daughter even though the huge suite that I reserved was for three people. I didn’t like the way they managed our situation even though I mentioned this is my 30th anniversary and try to make fine for us. This issue really bothered us. "

"Really good rooms, good size, very clean and well maintained. Feels a bit weird when you first get in due to the shape of the building, but soon got used to it. Common areas and pool very quiet and nicely kept. The plunge pool and hot bath was a bonus, shame the sauna and steam room weren't quite ready for use as currently being refurbes, but looked great. The bar on the top deck is worth a visit for the view. Good location, easy to walk to Kata and Kata Noi beach."

"The staff was friendly and provided towels to use at the beach. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the wifi worked well. The location was great for walking to Kata Noi beach and to many restaurants. I will stay here again next time I visit Phuket!"

"Great staff. Nice location far enough from the hubbub of Kata but close enough to walk to the beach. Rooms are clean and airy. All have balconies. Very nice family-run Turkish joint close by and a very good Italian place at Autogrill."

"Location is really good, near Kata Noi beach. Hotel is simple, cleaning is ok. In all a bit worn down and with thin walls. It’s ok for sleeping but nothing more. We enjoied the beach for a couple of days and then went on to a resort for the rest of our vacation. Italian Job café around tbe corner is a great place for breakfast."

"Booked the family poolside suite. Was amazing. Three beds (one very large and two small). The beds were so soft and comfy, but they could give a few more pillows (small minor thing) for us that love pillows. The pool was always amazingly clean. The hallways were constantly being tended to by staff. Everyone was very nice and polite. If you want the room changed/cleaned you need to ask. We were not aware of that but they cleaned it last minute for us anyways (probably off the clock. Such nice...
