"I was surprised by the hotel's appearance and the staff were pleasant. The hotel is clean and clutter free. The rooms are spacious with a microwave and refrigerator. The location is walkable to grocery stores, shopping, light rail station and restaurants. It is right off the Potrero exit so is very easy to find. The hotel serves coffee all day and has continental breafast. There is vending machine on every floor and laundry on the ground floor. I liked staying here so I extended my stay for...

"Staff so helpful. Very clean room, comfy bed, and great view of the bay. Wonderful location for getting to North Beach, Chinatown, and anywhere else you’d like to go with rapid transit. (Bus just a few steps away!). Also made use of their in n out parking privileges until 3 on checkout day which allowed to explore the city more before we needed to leave. Will definitely stay again!"

"The Riu Fisherman's Wharf was everything we needed: one block from the Wharf, a short 2 blocks to Ghirardelli Square, and convenient to satisfy the reason for our stay - the Monet and Venice exhibition at the de Young Museum. Something we rarely do - had breakfast everyday of our stay in SF at the Riu... and everyday it was excellent!"
