"This hotel is in an historical building, but the interior lobby and rooms are modern, optimistic, warm and well designed. Sir Albert Hotel is one block away from the Rijks Museum, Van Gogh Museum and local neighbourhood street with many small shops, restaurants and bars, plus an outdoor street fare every day with dozens of street side vendors for food and gifts. The Metro station is just two blocks away. Quite convenient in central Amsterdam for meetings and entertainment."

For our purposes (the Concertgrbouw, the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum) the location was ideal. Easy access to many tram lines as well"

"Absolutely great place to stay. The vibe was good; rock ‘n’ roll, 60s and record memorabilia. BUT there’s no elevator which we knew when we booked it. But we are in our 60s since seven days and we’re on the fourth floor and it was a very narrow and steep spiral staircase. Really didn’t like that, but most of the staff was awesome and it really is a cool vibe."
